Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm making a resolution to update this more consistently, so thanks for bearing with me! I'd like to expand on my YouTube post on the Femme Couture Mineral Effects makeup line now available a Sally Beauty Supply. So far I've only tried three of their loose mineral eyeshadows, but I've enjoyed them so much, I'm sure I'll branch out and try other products as well.

COST
The eyeshadows are 5.99, but with your Beauty Club Card they're 5.49. On top of that- Sally's is having a buy two get one free deal with the entire line right now! (as of 7/7/08)
TEXTURE
These are loose shadow powders, so beware of one common problem that accompanies all loose powder if not applied carefully: FALLOUT. To combat this, I would reccomend using a flat shadow brush (or a concealer brush works too) to "press" the shadow onto the lid. When you're using a crease brush, work in soft circular motions to blend the color without creating fallout. It's also great to have a fan brush to dust away fallout without pressing it into your skin.
COLOR PAYOFF
Fans of color and strongly pigmented shadow will love this! I have a golden shade, a brown shade, and a plum color. The color payoff is outstanding- I can only imagine what they'd look like when applied wet with a mixing medium! I'll definitely be looking to expand my Femme Couture collection of shadows- and maybe some of their face products too!
